Satoshi spent more than two decades in architecture and real estate development across Tokyo, New York, and London. At Rafael Viñoly Architects — the firm known for the Tokyo International Forum — he led projects worldwide, from luxury condominiums in New York to large-scale mixed-use developments, becoming Partner. He then launched WeWork’s enterprise consulting practice “Powered by We” in Japan from zero, as Regional Director Japan.
He founded X PLATFORM Co. in Tokyo in 2019, supporting numerous luxury residential and urban development projects in Japan, and established X Platform LLC in Houston in 2025. Today he leads development and advisory across both bases.
Toshiyuki brings more than 30 years of experience in urban planning, redevelopment, architectural design, and real estate, with a close network of developers, architects, and designers in Japan and abroad. From 2010 he spent six years as Mori Building’s Head of Hong Kong, engaged in numerous projects across Asia.
After serving as General Manager of WeWork Japan’s “Powered by We”, he co-founded X Platform in 2019. Since 2020 he has also headed Eight Partnership’s Japan office.
